Machine Breakdown Repair
For over 6 decades, Industrial Grinding has offered machine breakdown repair to any company in the manufacturing industry with a moving part. Our extensive in-house grinding and metalizing capabilities enable us to repair worn machine parts such as gear shafts, drive spindles, as well as spindle housings. Typical materials that we process include cast iron and tool steel.
Your machine components are refurbished by grinding and metalizing, while maintaining tolerances close to 0.0001". We have a full line of grinding equipment for performing cylindrical, ID/OD, vertical, surface, Blanchard, wet, and rough grinding operations. Through thermal spraying, Industrial Grinding enhances the corrosion, heat, and wear resistance of machine parts used in highly corrosive environments.
Coating materials used in our thermal spraying processes include oxide ceramics, nickel-chromium alloys, and non-ferrous metals. Through plasma arc spraying, we coat component substrates with high-density tungsten carbides, molybdendum, bronze, or oxide ceramics for enhancing wear resistance and bond strength.
